Community Action Agencies

Community Action Agencies serve low income and economically disadvantaged individuals and families by providing access to programs that encourage self-sufficiency and help people move out of poverty. Programs and services offered at most agencies include:

Case Management
Emergency Assistance
Food boxes
Assistance with rent and utilities through programs such as URRD, LIHEAP, and Weatherization
Financial assistance
Eviction prevention and emergency shelter coordination
Resources and Referrals
Employment assistance
