Cynthia Zwick
Executive Director
Cynthia brings over 23 years of director experience from the State Bar of Arizona and the Arizona Association of Legal Services & Education. Additionally, she is a current member of Valley Leadership. Cynthia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Ohio Wesleyan University.  

Jamal Al-Fakhouri

Business/Program Manager

Jamal Al-Fakhouri joined the staff of ACAA in August of 2007 as Business/Program Manager. Jamal is a graduate of the Western International University in Phoenix, where he earned a BS in General Business and is currently finishing his MBA in International Business. Before that, Jamal attended the University of Jordan in Amman Jordan, where he graduated in 1989 with a BA in English Literature and Political Science.

Jeff Jameson

Director of Utility Programs

Jeff joined ACAA in September, 2006 to direct the implementation of our new statewide utility assistance program. Jeff and his wife, Gayle, recently relocated from Pittsburgh, PA, where Jeff was Director of Development for the $1 Energy Fund, Inc. While at $1 Energy, he was responsible for fundraising, grant writing, special events, business development, corporate relations, and media and public relations. Jeff has over 20 years of non-profit leadership experience working in utilities, non-profit hospitals, community mental health, and children's services. He has a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management and has been active in electoral politics, environmental and conservation efforts, and other community affairs.

Katie Kahle

Program Manager
Katie graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor's in Social Work and a minor in Justice Studies. She also completed her Master's in Social Work at ASU, with an emphasis on Planning, Administration, and Community Organizing. Her professional and volunteer experience includes community organizing, advocacy, fund-raising, and public education through non-profit and volunteer organizations. As Program Manager, her responsibilities include Food Stamp Outreach, AZSecure, and the Arizona Self Help website (www.arizonaselfhelp.org).

Katie Morales

Program Manager

Katie joined ACAA in April 2007 to help develop the fuel fund and manage its daily operations.  Katie comes from Washington State where she worked at a Community Action Program office in the Energy Assistance Programs and the Weatherization program.  Katie studied Business Administration at the University of Washington and also speaks Spanish.
